MSG and Fluoride
Here’s a scary article on MSG – Slowly Poisoning America [and the world]
“…MSG is added to food for the addictive effect it has on the human body.
“And we wonder why the nation is overweight? The MSG manufacturers themselves admit that it addicts people to their products. It makes people choose their product over others, and makes people eat more of it than they would if MSG wasn’t added.
“The FDA has set no limits on how much of it can be added to food. They claim it’s safe to eat in any amount.”
That’s because the FDA is a pathetic federal agency driven by special interest groups intent on making big bucks while we die.
This is along the same lines as the fluoride scam. Fluoride is a byproduct of the metal industry. It is highly toxic and should never be ingested. So then why do they put it in drinking water?
The alarms and red flags should be popping up in everyone’s mind by now!!!
I hope your state never falls victim to what the money-driven criminals in government think you should be ingesting.
It’s debatable whether it helps to brush your teeth with fluoride in paste, but it should never be ingested!
Most tooth problems are from inadequate or poor oral hygiene. I have three fillings in my mouth from when I was in elementary school and nothing since. My lack of tooth decay is not from fluoridated water since I’ve never consumed it. Flossing is a better way to disrupt the colonies of plaque between teeth and below the gum line compared to simple brushing, and those water picks are even better at getting in deep to remove that crud. Since using a water pick, I notice tender gums if I don’t use the pick every day. Plaque comes back with 24 hours.
Here’s a good article on the dangers of fluoride. I like Doctor William Campbell Douglass Jr., M.D. because he’s not afraid of slamming the FDA or other doctors that publish lies and unsubstantiated claims.
“FOLLOW THE MONEY. Fluoride is a by-product of aluminum production…
“And aluminum producers must dispose of it. But this was a very expensive proposition prior to fluoridation. Back then, the only approved uses for fluoride were as an INSECTICIDE or a RAT POISON. (Hitler used Fluoride as a mind-controlling substance on his populace!)
“So what did they do? I don’t exactly have a smoking gun, but one of the first studies ‘proving’ the anti-cavity power of fluoridated water was funded by the aluminum industry.
“Ingenious, huh? If you can’t dispose of a toxin, just delude health authorities that it’s healthy, and presto.
“Now we pay them to pour rat poison into our water supply…
“And what’s the result? Fluoridated water doesn’t prevent cavities, but it definitely can prevent a long, healthy life. I could show you evidence linking it to cancer, osteoporosis…
“Plus, if you want to slash your Alzheimer’s risk overnight…
“Starting tomorrow, drink no fluoridated water.
“Why? Because fluoride makes your body absorb extra aluminum. And where does the aluminum go? Your brain!!!
“And what metal shows up alarmingly in the brains of Alzheimer’s victims?
“You guessed it.
Might as well mention the dangers of chlorine while we’re at it:
“Doctor Patrick Flanagan, named at age 17 as one of the Top 10 Scientists in America by Life Magazine, recently advised in his book ELIXIR OF THE AGELESS that: ‘Drinking tap water is a slow form of suicide, today’s tap water is yesterday’s toilet water, too thin to plow and too thick to drink. Chemicals (chlorine and fluorides) used to treat water are positive charged cationic electrolytes that are potentially destructive to the colloidal balance when ingested into the human system. As one result, people die…inch by inch, not really knowing what is wrong!'”
More on MSG
A friend sent this via email – regarding the dangers of MSG and how food-processing companies sneak it in or guarantee that it is created in the foods:
“The bottom line is that high heat processing causes natural enzymes in whole foods to break down and form free glutamic acids. These free ionic acids will attach to sodium ions (salt is most prevalent in processing) and create MSG. Hydrolyzed or autolyzed plant proteins or yeast are really free glutamic acids. Add salt and the chemical action creates MSG even though the label doesn’t say MSG. Look for disodium guanylate and disodium inosinate on the label. These are very expensive additives that insure automatic production of MSG in the processed food that you buy.
“MSG is labeled as a preservative or flavor enhancer but the truth is that it activates amino glutamate receptor sites on the neuron cell membranes in the hypothalamus to cause food cravings. It excites the neuron to death folks! MSG is recognized as a neurotoxin. The food industry wants you to but more food to increase its profits. MSG does that. MSG is the reason American is fat and starving for real nutrition.
“Don’t forget to look at milk as a source of hidden MSG. If you have been relying on Breyers ice cream to be MSG-free, take another look. Drugs that block the effects of MSG are being used to treat Alzheimer’s disease, yet the unsuspecting continue to eat MSG daily in food.
“1) Don’t be fooled. Dietary supplements, processed food used by vegetarians, and products labeled ‘organic’ are some of industry’s favorite places for hiding MSG.
“2) California proposes to allow more crops to be sprayed with MSG.
“3) Like so many other live virus vaccines, the Nasal Spray Flu Vaccine called FluMist contains MSG in the form of monosodium glutamate — (Monosodium glutamate is described as a Mutagen and Reproductive Effector by the Center for Disease Control in their Registry of Toxic Effects of Chemical Substances)
“4) Manufacturers are set to flood the market with personal care products containing synthetic chemicals like processed free glutamic acid (MSG) that carry the label “organic.” Included will be soaps, shampoos, and other body care products that contain glutamate surfactants, and products that contain hydrolyzed proteins. The national organic standards do not cover body care products, leaving the door open for the unscrupulous to include synthetic ingredients (as defined by the National Organic Program) like MSG in products they call ‘organic’.
“5) It’s history, but still ongoing. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved virtually unrestricted use of MSG for use on growing produce, while California continues to approve use of MSG in fungicides, plant growth regulators (fertilizers), and other crop sprays.”
The Lies in Labeling
Truth in Labeling
“Studies have shown that the body uses glutamate, an amino acid, as a nerve impulse transmitter in the brain and that there are glutamate-responsive tissues in other parts of the body, as well. Abnormal function of glutamate receptors has been linked with certain neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease and Huntington’s chorea. Injections of glutamate in laboratory animals have resulted in damage to nerve cells in the brain. Consumption of glutamate in food, however, does not cause this effect. While people normally consume dietary glutamate in large amounts and the body can make and metabolize glutamate efficiently, the results of animal studies conducted in the 1980s raised a significant question: Can MSG and possibly some other glutamates harm the nervous system? “
Not on the Label by Felicity Lawrence
“Not On the Label highlights the alarmingly intimate connection between so many of the world’s ills and the food that ends up on our plates. In a series of undercover investigations tracking some of the most popular foods we eat at home, Felicity Lawrence travels from farms and factories to pack-houses and lorry depots across the world. She discovers why beef waste ends up in chicken, why a third of apples are thrown away, why so many wines taste the same. She meets the hidden armies of migrant workers exploited throughout Britain on whom our supermarkets depend. And she shows how obesity, blighted town centers, motorways clogged with juggernauts, environmentally ravaged fields in Europe and starving smallholders in Africa are all intricately related aspects of our newly globalized, industrialized system of 21st century food production. Surely there is something we can do about this?”
